Mjølfjell 6 · Watercolour, 31.5 x 23 cm

Watercolour and oil pastel on 320 g paper · 31.5 x 23 cm · Framed in light wood with glass, ready to hang · Ships from Voss, Norway

This piece belongs to the hour when the light in Mjolfjell starts to fade and the mountains lose their edges, turning soft and blue before dark.

Staying out until that shift happens changes how a place feels, the day's noise falling away with the light. What is on this paper is that quieting, painted while the last color was still visible.
