Made near the water in Mjolfjell, where the surface held the mountain upside down and the sound of it moving was the only thing marking time.

This work grew out of watching that surface for a long while, letting its rhythm settle into the hand. What is left on the paper is not a picture of the water, but something closer to the feeling of sitting beside it until the line between watching and being part of it dissolved.
