A luminous sky blue fills the canvas with air and space — then sharp gestural marks cut through with energy and precision. Pink breaks in at the base, unexpected and alive. Cold and I is about that particular Norwegian sharpness — the cold that wakes you up, that makes everything suddenly, completely clear.
Get closer and you'll find layers of white and cream shifting across the surface, giving the painting depth and movement in different light. A striking piece for a living room, hallway or any space that needs both calm and life.
