Nordic Women: The Painting Chosen for Voss Municipality's Business Award 2024

About the work
Nordic Women explores strength and vulnerability, rooted in Nordic nature and light. Through vibrant colors and symbolic forms, the painting portrays a woman balancing the wild and the delicate, between roots and movement.
The work belongs to a series examining the human condition, the relationship between instinct and existential experience. It captures moments where danger becomes an affirmation of life, where the pull toward risk and intensity opens the way to deeper self understanding.
From Voss to a business award
The painting was acquired by Voss Municipality and presented as the 2024 Business Award to Renate Lunde, founder of the skincare brand Vossabia. The award marked the success behind Vossabia, a company that has grown into a significant business rooted in Voss.
